Solar Village is a Norwegian company on a mission to improve African smallholder farmers´ yields and quality of life, with our multifunctional solar Battery Stick™. We develop, manufacture, distribute and finance smart solar energy solutions tailored to the needs and aspirations of African smallholder farmers.

The Solar Village Initiative is an ongoing project founded in 2010 by Auroville Consulting to make the world a greener, better place (Irumbai village, near Auroville). One aspect of the initiative involves installing energy-efficient fans in homes to keep them cool and prevent the spread of disease-carrying mosquitoes.
